I'm a software developer with an interest in full-stack web development. Some technologies which I am well-versed in include React, Node, Express, and MongoDB. I've completed a range of work terms and projects using these frameworks, including my final co-op term at Ford Pro, and the industrial asset tracker University of Waterloo capstone project my team and I built out for Tesla. I am also familiar with a wide range of other programming languages and technologies, including Typescript & JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, C, C#, Git, CSS & SCSS, AWS and more. I enjoy focusing on developing robust, elegant, and scalable solutions, and writing code that I can take pride in. I graduated with distinction from the University of Waterloo's computer engineering program. Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball, going for runs, playing board games, doing game development, and more!

Resolved dozens of critical accessibility issues using the React JS framework to ensure the company website was deployed successfully to production in a timely fashion (see it in action at fordpro.ca). Used React JS and SCSS to improve the data filtering experience for the company’s internal tools website by implementing a debounced search bar and inline filtering chips with dropdowns. Also improved the design of various features, including the data table, dropdown, and pagination components. Spearheaded efforts to improve test coverage to 80% or more in SonarQube across the entire repository by writing dozens of unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library.
