Build and bench tested control panels for Flare ignition systems, blower controls (VFDs) and flame monitoring. Performed quality inspections on all panels built in the control shop. Wrote all Factory Acceptance test procedures and performed tests on all completed systems for customer approval. Assisted controls design department by updating all standard controls drawings, completing As-Built drawings, and basic custom job electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical

Worked in the New Product Integration department. Used drawings and schematics to lay out and build controls panels to customer specs and created build books to move products to mass production lines.

Worked on Phase II at Samsung Austin Semiconductor. Lead a small group of 3 electrician apprentices to run and terminate all wiring to control cabinets. Performed final quality inspections for all terminations as well as switchboard wiring in the clean room.

Assembled and tested control panels for Ski Lifts, Gondolas, Inclined Elevators and various other people movers. Used AutoCad and Google Sketchup to layout control panels for limited space applications. Built control panels with the use of drawings and electrical schematics and traveled to customer location to install onsite.

Mounted and wired security components such as cameras, motion detectors, glass break detectors, and entry point contacts. Walked through the entire security system with each customer prior to installation to ensure maximum protection. After installation, provided training to customer on system operations.

Aviation Electricians Mate on SH-60B Seahawks. Served aboard the USS Valley Forge (CG-50) during Operation Iraqi Freedom and completed a 99% mission success rate for two Helos. Certified Collateral Duty Inspector for Electrical systems (220 CDI). Night shift lead electrician. Battery Safety Program manager. Involved with Plane Captain training for all junior personnel in Detachment 1.
