• Work within the Broadband Plasma products • Requirements analysis, system design and testing of complex inspection systems using expertise from multiple technical disciplines. • Work with marketing and engineering teams to define system architecture, and create and execute test plans to validate system performance. • Collaborate with functional groups to define and review designs to solve customer problems. • Support internal and external customers in implementing processes to build and use the tool effectively and solve intricate problems to optimize tool performance.

• Set up a laser scanning based phase profile writing system by focusing femtosecond laser pulses generated by regenerative amplifier to directly tailor the 3D refractive index profile in glass resulting in spatiotemporal control optical waves in extreme wavelength and intensity • Designed, set up, and calibrated a two-photon based panoramic access channel imaging system by inserting a glass channel and GRIN lens into brain tissue for neuron imaging which increased the imaging volume of invasive brain imaging method by 3 orders of magnitude and published on Nature Methods • Calibrated and set up a three-photon imaging system including dispersion compensation and temporal focusing to non-invasively collect calcium signal in the deep brain region as evidenced by $1.3M funding by NIH • Developed a laser guiding algorithm by controlling scanning mirror running specific pattern to let each laser pulse excite each neuron at desired position and time • Collaborated with researchers in MRI facility to set up a two photon imaging system as demonstrated by 1 publication • Maintained the peak performance of regenerative amplifier to ablate neurons and dendrites for functional study resulting in 1 publication and 1 conference presentation
