Short-term doctoral mobility (July 10-20, 2026) under the Erasmus+ KA171 program. Intensive research collaboration focused on Teacher Digital Competence, DigCompEdu framework, AI integration in education, and gamified pedagogical approaches through a comparative European-UAE-South African perspective. Supervised by Professor Ruksana Osman (Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Academic) and Dr. Douglas Andrews (Lecturer, UNESCO Chair Secretary). Engaged with leading researchers including Associate Professor Reuben Dlamini, Senior Lecturer Nokulunga Ndlovu, and Associate Lecturer Fatima Makda. This mobility strengthened the international dimensions of my Education and Technology doctoral thesis at the University of Seville and fostered meaningful academic exchange between Europe and the Global South.

During my Master's Degree in Labour Market Orientation and Training, I completed 10 credits specifically designed to provide direct access to PhD studies. My Master's Final Project, titled "Revisión Sistemática sobre las Competencias Digitales de los Docentes: aspectos relevantes a considerar en la enseñanza de las lenguas extranjeras en los EAU" (Systemic Review on Teachers' Digital Competencies: Relevant Aspects to Consider in Foreign Language Teaching in the UAE), allowed me to dive deep into digital competencies relevant to foreign language education in the UAE. It was a foundational experience for my future doctoral research.
