# Project Management Consultant for the KRG Smart Grid Project. It is the first utility project of this kind in Iraq to deploy five modules for Meter Data Management (MDM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Outage Management, Energy Control & Losses, and GIS. # Project Management Consultant for Advanced Metering Infrastructure Project in Rawalpindi circle in Pakistan which includes Metering Data Management (MDM) & Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO). # In addition, supporting Indra in their Business Development efforts in Middle East.

o Promoting intercultural relations between peoples of the UK and Iraqi Kurdistan. o Mentoring the Chevening Scholarship applicants, mainly in Iraqi Kurdistan, through personal coaching and seminars. o Acquiring funds for running Chevening activities and other human development projects.

Leading and managing multiple projects (Oil & Gas field equipment services) for two of the biggest clients in the industry in Iraq (BP & Shell). o Coordinating internal resources and third party vendor (Sulzer) for the flawless execution of projects to our clients. o Collecting project requirements, defining scope of work, creating work breakdown structure, and making estimations for resources, duration, and overall project cost (CTR). o Ensure that all project deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. o Tracking detailed project tasks and reporting progress. o Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation. o Managing a fleet of trucks and cranes to transport the equipment from the client’s sites to our warehouse and later transporting the assets back to the clients.

Responsibilities: Inspecting the suitability of implementing common project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, APM, and Spiral Model) in the telecommunication industry in Iraq. Main Achievements: o Completing an empirical research (27,000 words) for the main research. o Completing nine post-module papers (36,000 words in-total) about different businesses topics such as finance, joint-ventures and supply chain.

Responsibilities: o Supervising the progress of the telecom projects in cooperation with the project managers from the suppliers (Ericsson, Nokia & Darin) through coordination of internal resources and suppliers’ resources. o Ensuring that all project documents are complete and up-to-date in the PMIS database to learn lessons from old projects. o Supporting PMO Director and other technical directors in making informed decisions. o Close coordination with Korek Sourcing and Logistics department in order to track the ordered HWs. And, to make sure that the HWs are delivered to the working sites as per the Bill of Quanitity. Main Achievements: Multiple projects were accomplished including: o Modernization and software upgrade of 85 End of Support sites to cater 3G traffic. o Installation of 7 Ericsson optical platforms (SPO-1400) to backhaul the core network traffic over microwave links. o Installation of (2 BSC, 3 RNC, and 2 MGW) nodes to the company’s core network.

Leading a technical team of 7 Electrical Technician, 2 Operators, and 1 Basket Crane Driver to maintain the work of all electrical infrastructures of a major public park (Sami Abdulrahman park) in Erbil. o Ensuring a safe working environment for the team. o Support of daily maintenance activities and problem solving. o Optimizing the predictive/preventive maintenance. o Maintain spare parts inventory and standardize equipment. o Administrative duties.

o At Erbil International Airport; contributing to the periodic aircraft maintenance, repairs, inspections for (EC-120 B) Helicopters & (MTO-Sport) Gyrocopters according to FAA and CAA regulations. Also, conducting necessary maintenance activities to the (Power Plant, Airframe, & Avionics). o Performing appropriate computer functions and documentation to ensure that maintenance records, parts tracking and costs are accurately recorded.

Responsibilities: Assisting Project Managers and Planning department to make sure the acquired sites and the telecom parameters reflect the RF plan of the projects, through: o Conducting on-site surveys and preparing Site Acquisition Reports (SAR), Technical Site Survey Reports (TSSR) and Line Of Sight (LOS) Reports. o Negotiating lease contracts with the site owners, and adhere to the legal requirements. Main Achievements: As a member of a large project team, we established a network consisting of up to 250 telecom sites in the city of Erbil.
