MAPgears project - Researcher and Project Manager
Research project focused on the of advanced power train components made of polymers (especially gear pairs), which will meet any highest customer requirements and significantly exceed the existing solutions. Project partners: - Podkrižnik, d.o.o., - Polycom Škofja Loka, d.o.o., - TECOS - Industrial Association of Toolmakers, - Faculty of Polymer Technology, - Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ljubljana

Researcher and Teching Assistant
Research work focused on experimental and numerical analysis of power transmission components made from non-metal materials Teching assistant for subjects covering the fields of CAD/CAE, product design and engineering design using non-metal materials

Development of E-bike central drive
The goal of the project was the development of a new central drive system for MTB e-bikes. A complex mechatronic drive system was successfully developed and integrated into a NOX MTB. Product market launch in 2019. Project partners: - Domel, d.o.o. - Podrkižnik, d.o.o. - Emsiso, d.o.o. Review: https://ebike-mtb.com/en/sachs-rs-2021-review/

Visiting Researcher
Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany
Worked as visiting researchet at the Institute for Continuum Mechanics in Hannover Germany. The research was focused on developing a thermo-viscoelastic finite element material model suitable for modeling the behaviour of polymer gears during running. The work served as the backbone for the final thermomechanical gear model developed as part of my PhD research.

Researcher
Institute of Solid Mechanics, TU Dresden
Dresden, Saxony, Germany
Research study exchange via the Erasmus initiative as part of my Master's study (master's thesis preparation). The work was oriented towards the development of a nonlinear viscoelastic X-FEM model for laminated composites capable of predicting the variable behaviour of the material in tensile and compressive load conditions. The work resulted in a validated model, succesfully applied for modeling a polypropylene (PP) + glass fibre (GF) laminated composite.
