Responsible for leading a team of 30+ professionals to deliver the new Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), combining data from multiple Point of Sale (PoS) and other corporate systems such as SalesForce.com and Great Plains. • Developed a new EDW architecture taking advantage of Netezza as the data platform and significantly reducing time to market for new reporting and analytics projects. • Helped build and define a data validation framework that reduced reporting data variances for financial reports from hundreds of thousands of dollars to a few cents. • Successfully delivered the data governance charter to the CAO and CIO • Defined the near to mid-term BI & Master Data Management (MDM) Strategy • Led the delivery of many ad hoc analytics and regulatory reporting requests. One of these requests helped company avoid significant penalties from Financial Regulators by impressing them with the significantly higher accuracy of our filings. • Oversaw complete replatforming of the BI technology stack to Informatica Cloud & PowerCenter for Data Integration, Cognos for reporting and analytics and Netezza for Data Warehouse.

Director of Delivery Responsible for delivering business value to multiple clients through data-driven solutions, reporting directly to COO. • Led the effort at a retail client to create a standard definition of Store, as a starting point of data governance and Master Data Management (MDM) efforts. • Helped define the BI Strategy for a financial institution client. • Acted as the engagement and technical lead to build a new Enterprise Data Warehouse for a financial institution with more than 1,000 branches. • Helped the client save $1.9M over 3 years by recommending an alternative Data Warehouse platform. • As a trusted partner to the client, was tasked with interviewing the leading candidate for the VP of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing. • As the Tech Lead, delivered custom built Customer and Product Masters at a Health Care Information Systems client. Data Warehousing (DW) And Business Intelligence (BI) Practice Area Lead Acted as the DW/BI Practice Area Lead and Engagement Lead to the largest account in the company. • Responsible for building the DW/BI practice. Responsibilities included recruiting, methodology development, intellectual property generation, sales assistance and education. • Managed a Fortune 50 client account, responsible for as much as 35% of the overall company’s revenue at times. The account had several active projects under multiple SoWs, engaged in high profile projects under the office of the CIO. The staffing was very dynamic and involved a mix of full time 3sage employees, business partner resources and contractors. • Successfully delivered the long term BI Strategy to the business unit CIO and CEO. • Led the client effort to put together an Enterprise Data Model. • Oversaw projects to implement the BI strategy. • Led the client efforts to standardize definitions and attributes of Product, Defect, Requirement and Change Request to client satisfaction. Multiple previous efforts by the client were unsuccessful.
