I helped people, I talked to people, I sold things to people, I made friends/connections, I stocked shelves, I priced items, I memorized changing merchandise, made daily goals, tried to go above and beyond for every single customer.

A little bit of everything. I was in training to become the assistant manager then I got offered a manager position which I respectfully declined.

* I was accountable for personal performance and responsible for maintaining the overall functionality of the store. * Priority is to ensure a successful shopping experience for each guest while providing them ideas and suggestions for unique requests. * Responsible for shared training of new sales associates while promoting a calm and steady learning environment. * Gained a well versed familiarity in all areas of an extensive catalog. This includes a product line of figurines, jewelery, and a continuously changing card assortment. * Developed equally on customer service/interpersonal behaviors as much as store operating procedures and product knowledge. * Focused on maintaining personal and store daily sales goals/targets while ensuring the customer floor remains functional and clean. * Traditional closing duties, including payroll, inventory control, and banking.

* Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. * Compute and record totals of transactions. * Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are * correct. * Greet customers entering establishments. * Issue receipts, exchanges, credits, or change due to customers. * Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas. * Receive payment by cash, credit cards, or debit cards.

Last "grade" I was in was 10. I failed at Algebra and I can no longer gain access to bursaries.
