Bob Parsons, the founder and Executive Chairman of GoDaddy.com, is dedicated to giving back to the community both on a personal level and through his company. Last year, the collective donations of Bob Parsons and Go Daddy totaled nearly $5 million. The charities they support include the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Arizona Humane Society, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Autism Speaks, the Phoenix Zoo, and Camp Sunshine. After graduating from the University of Baltimore, Bob Parsons established his first company, Parsons Technology, in his basement. He taught himself how to program computer software and subsequently created multiple financial software products. A decade after founding the company, he sold it to Intuit, Inc., for $64 million. At the time, the company comprised almost 1,000 employees and claimed more than $100 million annually in revenue. A few years after the sale, Bob Parsons created his second company, Jomax Technologies, which eventually became Go Daddy. This company expanded rapidly and now oversees more than 49 million domain names. Bob is also the CEO/Founder of Go AZ Motorcycles and Harley-Davidson of Scottsdale, which together comprise the largest motorcycle dealership in Arizona. Recently, Bob Parsons earned the prestigious Celebrity Fight Night Muhammad Ali Entrepreneur Award. He has also received recognition as the 2007 Arizona Business Leader of the Year, and the University of Baltimore honored him with its Distinguished Entrepreneur award in 2010.
