One thing has become increasingly clear: the grid is the limiting factor in fleet electrification and is effectively blocking renewables uptake. It's the piece that determines which projects move forward - and which don't. Kwetta has built grid-infrastructure charging hardware that connects all the dots: renewables <-> the grid <-> enabling fleet electrification.

Spark Energy is delivering energy access to hundreds of thousands of families and small businesses who needed it most. Spark's ambition now is to scale hard, reaching significantly more of the people who need it most. My role is to work together with the management and design the growth architecture that gets them there including new markets, capital structures and business models — and pressure-test it with the investors who'll back the next phase. The roadmap is still being written. I'm glad to be helping write it.

Appointed by Castleton Commodities International (US VC/PE investor) to lead the turnaround and scale-up of S4 Energy into a pan-European energy storage platform. Restructured and scaled organization (~50 FTEs) ), aligned governance, and operational KPIs with investor targets. Acquisition and integration of LC Energy (7.5GW pipeline) and Terra One (310MW), expanding platform footprint. Delivered Europe’s first 4-hour operational BESS (Zeeland) and fully permitted 2GWh project (Groningen).

Led the Smart Grid and Virtual Power Plant teams, leveraging Heliox’s installed EVSE base to deliver flexibility services — culminating in the full acquisition of Recoy (www.recoy.com). Developed and executed a growth strategy that positioned Heliox as a unique, integrated provider of EVSE, BESS, and energy flexibility solutions with a >200 MW VPP platform. Oversaw the successful implementation of Europe’s first DC chargers connected to the grid within the passive imbalance and aFFR markets, setting a new industry benchmark. Integrated Heliox and Recoy into a unified organization, scaling from concept to 30 FTEs prior to acquisition by Siemens. Built strategic partnerships with regulators, public transport authorities, and industry associations to accelerate innovation in energy flexibility.

Launched and scaled Heliox’s North American operations, achieving €10M turnover in under two years (re-location to Portland). Built a high-performance team from the ground up (15 FTEs), establishing production and unsure compliance with UL standards and local market regulations (Buy America). Developed and led strategic alliances with key stakeholders, expanding Heliox’s footprint across the US and Canada. Implemented governance structures to ensure operational and financial efficiency, supporting rapid market growth.

Co-founded Heliox. Led the commercial team from inception to global expansion across Europe, the Nordics, the US, and Australia/New Zealand—including relocation to Melbourne to establish the APAC presence. Built and managed a 45-person global team, securing market leadership with a 95% success rate in public tenders.
