As a Strategic Planner, actively participated on several teams i.e., Service Assurance, Data Organization, and Architecture Framework in gathering and assimilating information pertaining to the Network Operations Support System (OSS) Infrastructure and formulating the Network OSS Strategic Plan. Received ‘Leaders in Excellence Award’ for DCS 2000 Project and Plan.

Tactical Planner for Service Assurance Systems i.e., Total Network Management (TNM now Network Fault Manager (NFM)) and Data Collection System-2000

Updated and maintained numerous embedded NTM and NDC interfaces at the direction of the Bell Operating Companies (BOCs) to support their business needs. Provided consulting and analysis support to Boston Technologies Inc. on their Voice Messaging Equipment Functional Specifications to the NDC resolving all issues. Consulted with Ameritech on % Occupancy problem with the Siemens Switch (EWSD) and acted as liaison between AT&T and Siemens to resolve the problem. Consulted with the Advanced Intelligent Network (AIN) requirements writers on NTM support and recommended modifications to their requirements to be consistent with existing interfaces. Successfully negotiated with AT&T to support the documentation of their 5 ESS  switch interface. Completed an in-depth analysis of the interface alternatives for Bell Atlantic and their supplier, Sodalia, on the integration of their existing NDC OS with their new NDC OS identifying the operations impacts.

Responsible for the system administration and maintenance of the Fault Management, Network Data Collection and Network Traffic Management systems in support of the Network Operations Center and the Datakit network for the Maryland Company. In addition, administered the Office Automation System used by the switching organization including the development of several applications e.g., ILRS (ISDN Line Record System) that has migrated to a fully supported program.
