Delivered key customer-facing features and optimized the ride-hailing system for performance, reliability, and scalability. - Optimized a high-traffic Tier-0 geo location service using H3 geospatial indexing, cutting p99 latency by ~50% and storage costs by 80%. - Found and resolved the bottleneck in database connection pooling, reducing p99 latency by 50% across 90% of all APIs. - Fully responsible and designed, implemented a scalable transaction analytics system processing millions of daily events using Google Cloud Pub/Sub and TimescaleDB. - Built important metrics and actively monitored high-traffic events and system downtime. - Implemented server-sent events for real-time ride status updates, reducing latency by 20%. - Developed be-kit an internal Go toolkit that accelerates microservice development and enabling faster feature delivery.
