* Involved in Enhancements/Support of EXODUS Application, which maintains the customer information that responded to Capital One offers and books the account based on their credit history. Data for 13 months are maintained and remaining purged. Source data are flat files from different lines of business. * Involved in migration of different applications that are on Oracle to a Centralized Data Warehouse, on Teradata. The data from oracle applications is migrated based on the signal files produced from the applications and full refresh of the tables for smaller tables. * Table rotation to expedite the loading process and provide the user with the current data. * Wrote complex Teradata SQL to produce the reports from the Data Warehouse. * Production support and code enhancements. * Flat file validations on the data using Perl.

Involved in the development of Sales Force Automation, a CRM Suite for Baan. The SFA application is a client-server browser-based product developed using Microsoft J++, Visual Basic 5.0/6.0, Seagate Crystal Reports 6.0, MS Access, HTML, XML, VBScript, Java Script based on Microsoft’s COM Technology and supports major databases (Oracle 7.x/8.x, SQL Server 6.5/7.0, Centura SQL Base). Involved in complete life cycle of software development gathering requirements in consultation with the clients using Baan Momentum 4.0, development of new modules, customization of existing modules in Visual Basic 5.0 and 6.0, integration of the application with existing systems, product roll-out and support. Extensively used third party ActiveX controls to design GUI for application.

* Managed projects of ADCo, Bloomberg which are external sources through which Fannie Mae’s receives the loans/securities information like UPB (unpaid balance), cash flows and cash periods etc. which are owned by Fannie Mae and other federal institutions. * Managed a project “Fails” which calculates the difference of time for a Loan/security between the booked date and the actual wire date and Amortizes the amount for the difference of period based on the regulations instructed. * Managed the team of 15 direct reports consisting of project manager, software developers and business analysts. * Initiated projects after thorough analysis of the business requirements with the customer community, budget negotiations with the stakeholders, project staffing, feasibility studies and technology prototyping. * Set the standards, strategy and roadmap for the Restatement project.
