Spearheaded the end-to-end refactoring of the KYC domain from a monolith into a modern microservice. Engaged with key stakeholders to define requirements, designed a new REST API, and integrated a new provider, resulting in a 50% reduction in operational costs and enhanced system scalability. Developed a new, high-performance payment gateway client in Golang and implemented Secure Customer Authentication (SCA) for MangoPay, enhancing transaction security and ensuring regulatory compliance. Championed and led the successful adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, automating the provisioning and management of all cloud resources to increase deployment reliability and speed. Optimized CI/CD pipelines to significantly reduce build times and compute costs while enhancing security by integrating automated secret scanning, establishing a modern DevSecOps culture. Improved overall application performance and user experience by re-architecting API communication with a Pub/Sub messaging system, which significantly reduced latency for asynchronous operations.

Architected and developed highly scalable backend services, including REST and WebSocket APIs in Golang, to support the core real-time communication platform. Managed the complete cloud infrastructure lifecycle using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker on AWS, and maintained CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, automated deployments. Led a project team to successfully integrate a critical monitoring solution into a healthcare application, improving system observability and reliability. Engineered a specialized Android application featuring offline map capabilities using OpenStreetMaps, and developed custom tooling to build and maintain AOSP images from source mirrors on AWS.

Developed and maintained multiple Augmented Reality (AR) applications for Microsoft HoloLens and the Universal Windows Platform (UWP). Utilized Unity3D and C# to build specialized AR solutions tailored for industrial factory planning and automation scenarios.

Engineered a cross-platform parking assistance application using C++ and Qt, enabling users to control automated parking features directly from an Android device. Implemented a low-latency, real-time video streaming solution to display live feeds from car cameras within the Android application, a critical component for driver assistance.

Engineered a data pipeline for a scientific study on peer programming, which involved building eye-tracking software from source, synchronizing devices, and recording data from multiple subjects simultaneously. Developed custom scripts in Python to clean, process, and prepare the collected eye-tracking data for final visualization and analysis.

Architected and developed cross-platform mobile games, including titles in the popular Stick Cricket series, for iOS, Android, and Windows using C++ and Cocos2dx. Engineered key gameplay mechanics, designed and implemented user interfaces, and integrated analytics to track player engagement and inform updates. Developed edutainment games for the HTML5 platform using Construct 2, demonstrating versatility across different game engines and platforms.

Architected and developed cross-platform motorsports games for iOS, Android, and Blackberry using the Marmalade SDK and C++. Managed client-side database design and implementation, and contributed to the maintenance and updates for massively multiplayer online (MMO) games. Responsible for core technical tasks including user interface implementation, effort estimation for new features, and creating technical documentation.
