As a retired Health Physicist I am trying to correct the wrong ideas about the dangers of ionizing radiation. Regulatory agencies have greatly exagerated the dangers causing unnecessary worry. To help with this goal, I have written a short book "Understanding Radiation--A Common Sense Approach" [available at "understanding-radiation.com]. My main objectives are: Tell the truth about the health effects of radiation. Encourage the development of more nuclear energy.
