As the Chairman & Managing Director of Eco Recycling Limited (Ecoreco), I lead India’s most known and innovative e-waste recycling and circular economy companies, guided by our Group motto — “Nature Builds Nation.” This philosophy reflects our belief that environmental responsibility is fundamental to nation-building, economic resilience, and sustainable employment. In 2005, I established India’s first authorised and registered e-waste recycling facility, setting early benchmarks for environmental compliance, responsible recycling, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)—well before formal regulations came into force. The same was flagged off by Dr. Jitendra Singh in New Delhi on 2nd Oct 2023. Award-winning Data Destruction on Wheels and Lamp Recycling on Wheels Social Impact & Nation-Building Through the Ecoreco Foundation, which works across Education, Environment, and Employment, we have launched a national mission to install 100,000 Eco-Bins in educational institutions across India by 2030. These Eco-Bins are designed to deliver passive yet perpetual awareness cum action drive among students. The collected e-waste is channelized responsibly to Ecoreco’s environmentally compliant recycling facilities, while the initiative itself enables large-scale green employment across collection, logistics, processing, and outreach. Ecoreco’s work has been recognised by DST, FICCI, CII, Frost & Sullivan, Lockheed Martin, Hurun India, and other global institutions, and featured in Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat. Beyond operations, I actively engage with policymakers, global technology companies, ESG leaders, and investors to strengthen India’s circular economy, improve resource security, and position e-waste as a strategic asset for sustainable and climate-resilient growth.
