1-Discuss the steps of new issue batch record, manufacturing, and packaging, in details with subordinates and send it to the Production Director when accepted. 2-Reviews and update in production departments working and cleaning instructions S.O.P.s and assure its compliance with all activities in each department activities. 3-Reviews the issuance of the required materials quantities needed for production accordingly to the production plan. 4- Check all Batch Records before handling to the Q.A. documentation department to ensure it is completed and fulfilled according to cGMP and delivered on time. 5-Monitor Solid dosage form department daily activities, receive daily and monthly reports of productivity, reject and defect rates and deviations from production plan. 6- Direct subordinates in implementation of performance improvements plans. 7- Study the ability of applying new manufacturing processes & new technologies that foster high quality, cost efficiency and compliance with all approved regulatory & customer requirements. 8-Review the concerned section New machine specifications and assure it compliance with the department and the company requirements. 9- Sets the prospectus of new Machinery and production lines as requested by production director to serve the update of a part or full production facility or building of a new one. 10- Review with production managers improvements in cost effectiveness, manufacturing processes and procedures, material suitability, reject and defect rates, etc. 11-Prepare the production batch and follow up the product in various stages of manufacturing. 12-Conduct on job training for the production pharmacists and technicians on machines. 13-Coordinate with the quality assurance, R&D and purchasing to solve any raised problem during purchasing process. 14- Coordinate with the engineering department for corrective and preventive production machines maintenance.

-Supervise on the daily production plan, track its achievement accordingly, and take the corrective actions. -Prepare the production batch and follow up the product in various stages of manufacturing. -Follow up the achievement of the production plan and its distribution on the production pharmacists. -Conduct on job training for the production pharmacists and technicians on machines. -Coordinate with the quality assurance, R&D and purchasing to solve any raised problem during purchasing process. - Coordinate with the engineering department for corrective and preventive production machines maintenance.

-Oversees the receipt of the reviewed batch record (by Production Manager) from associate -Supervises the dispensing of raw materials of a certain batch from raw materials warehouse after confirmation of the release of all raw materials and follows-up the transfer to the production hall with the implementation of all the instructions for circulation, prevention of cross contamination & line clearance. -Follows-up the cleaning & setup of the processing line with the Production Technician in accordance with the instructions of the operation and cleaning of machines. -Reports the need for unplanned maintenance of machinery during operation by using the reporting form for failure. -Follows-up distinction and tracking of the products according to distinction and tracking steps. -Evaluate subordinates and follows-up on their training. -Arranges shifts and coordinate work and workers -Follows up on accurate data entry on daily basis to the oracle database. -Evaluates subordinates on a monthly basis (production technician) -Follows-up on the production plan weekly

Responsible for all manufacturing steps starting after weighing of raw material till delivery of blistered Capsules and Tablets including -Preparation of Granules or Powder -Filling of Hard Gelatin Capsules -Compression of Tablets -Blistering
