Led several research projects in areas such as; empirical market microstructure, markets and trading systems, competition between stock markets, and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities •Conducting literature reviews, data collection and economic analysis in SAS, and preparation of journal articles. •Maintaining a strong theoretical understanding of finance especially in market microstructure. •Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting statistical data from COMPUSTAT, CRSP, DataStream, TAQ, ITCH, Dash-5, and other information sources. •Obtaining and analyzing appropriate financial statements and securities data. •Manipulating large amounts of data in SAS.

Taught several undergraduate courses in economics and finance, including: corporate finance, investments, money and banking, managerial economics, and business statistics. Key Responsibilities: •Developing the structure and content of the course. •Teaching key financial management functions including development of monthly/quarterly financial statements and financial forecasts. •Managing course meetings, both lecture and discussion groups. •Evaluating student performance in the course.
