ACTIVITIES PERFORMED SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGERS & PRESSURE VESSELS Thermal design of shell and tube heat exchangers and air fin cooler using HTRI during Job and proposal stage. Mechanical design of shell and tube heat exchanger & Pressure vessel using PVELITE & ASPEN. Preparation of datasheets showing thermal calculation results. Responsible for detail fabrication drawing review of the equipment and send for client approval. Responsible for getting approval from the ASME authorized inspector for mechanical design calculation and manufacturing drawings. Reviewing the detail fabrication drawing and procurement drawings prepared by draft man. Preparation of the TDC including the PWHT cycle, NACE applicability as well as HIC /IMPACT tested material requirement based on either process or code requirement etc. Reverse Engineering of Turbine Steam surface condenser Thermal design of the surface condenser using HEI calculation. Preparation of the detail tube layout including the distribution of tubes in condensing and air cooling zone.Preparation of the detail tube bundle by providing the number of baffle support and special arrangement of the air cooling zone in the shell. Based on the client requirement,vibration analysis have been done using X-Vib module of the HTRI and submitted the detail report including the technical suggestions for the exchangers.

Giving requirements of spares for smooth running and maintenance of equipments and also raise indents for the same. Suggesting modification in plant and implementing it. Preparing preventive maintenance schedules and following it. Assigning jobs to technicians for maintenance of equipments to avoid any production/quality loss and follow-up till completion. Evaluation equipments and system performance and finding solutions for improved performance of equipments.
