About
Bimo Wibowo (he/him) is an award-winning senior social science student at the University of British Columbia, specializing in environmental data, policy, and spatial analysis. Under his Bachelor of Arts, he is pursuing three programs, including a major in Environment & Sustainability with a minor in Geographic Information Science and a Certificate in Climate Studies and Action.Trained in UBC’s Geography Department, ranked #1 in Canada, he integrates environmental science, GIS, and governance to address climate and ecological change. His work spans coral reef monitoring (in collaboration with NOAA Coral Reef Watch) and climate policy and public engagement with Metro Vancouver, focusing on how data and community perspectives inform climate action.
