Customer Service: - Responsible for performance, results, leadership and end- to-end performance management of contract manufacturing vendors. - Build, implement and optimize vendor management through continuous improvement. - Continuously develop reliable and cost effective supplier partners - Builds and maintains strong vendor relationships. - Proactively assess current supply strategies to ensure they meet the operation needs, and initiate improvements with suppliers and stakeholders to increase supply chain reliability. - Supports escalations in order to secure on time delivery, new product launch dates and business continuity Sourcing Support: - Secure cost savings projects related to vendors are implemented on-time to meet company targets. - Owns Sourcing strategy - Ensure contract terms and conditions are executed (pricing, rebates, payment terms, incoterms, etc.) per the agreed timing across the spend category. - Support new supplier identification, selection, and qualification activities across contract manufacturing vendors. - Lead and drive as the procurement leader and representation on new product development, commercialization forums and prioritization process. Process Improvement & Capabilities: - Ensure continuous identification and implementation of process improvements within procurement, and drive implementation with other cross-functional areas to minimize cost, reduce waste, and increase speed. - Support company sustainability initiatives and targets. - Participate in the development / implementation of company-wide standard processes.

- Accountable for & coordinates all finished goods production planning (on-site & outsourced) & commodity procurement. - Direct & supervise the production planning & procurement functions. - Manage the sourcing & negotiation of all material & supply chain purchases while overseeing standard costs. - Justify & ensure commodity & finished goods inventory levels are in-line & consistent with established objectives. - Manage the approval process for all cost increases from suppliers. - Provide escalated (managerial) support to Purchasing Agents for supplier & supply chain issues. - Initiate & participate in supplier visits/audits & quality checks at supplier locations. - Plan & organize work flow to departments to obtain high efficiency, on time delivery & high quality standards. - Give direction & assign goals to planners & agents. - Responsible for meeting set schedules, & departmental goals. - Enforce company policy. - Perform management responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, & training employees; planning, assigning & directing work; appraising performance; rewarding & disciplining employees with assistance from Human Resources, as appropriate; enforce OSHA safety standards. - Develop, justify, & implement short & long range cost reduction programs. - Develop budget & prepare cost justifications for executive management review. - Ensure monthly department metrics are accurate, timely - Review & analyze reports/data to determine causes of nonconformity with inventory, receiving or production planning. - Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, & draw valid conclusions. - Various other duties/projects as assigned by Management.

Duties and responsibilities include: Contract and pricing negotiations, cost savings analysis, various supply chain projects, inventory analysis, heavy communication with suppliers / potential suppliers, processing purchase orders, data verification and analysis, collaboration with the Quality Dept. and existing suppliers to resolve defective material issues, providing monthly forecasts and frequent order guidance to existing suppliers, performing routine supplier evaluations, performing new product sourcing, analyzing and revision / rewriting of SOP’s (standard operating procedures), process improvements, raw material stock program maintenance, maximizing freight efficiency, and maintaining product specifications.

Duties and responsibilities included: Preparing and coordinating information between the Sales and the Construction teams, assistance with business partner contract negotiations, maintenance and tracking of insurance for all business partners, and assistance in preparing estimates for all custom home options.

Regional Purchasing Assistant – Duties and responsibilities included: Assisting the head of the dept. with analyzing, implementing and maintaining regional purchasing programs. Estimator – Duties and responsibilities included: Assistance in the preparation of houseline take-offs, as well as maintaining historical cost reporting and quarterly forecasting. Production Systems Analyst – Duties and responsibilities included: Preparing and issuing purchase orders for houseline contracts, handling multiple vendor disputes, assisting Purchasing Agents with various research, quarterly projects, spreadsheets, etc., and assistance with the Purchasing Dept. Manager with contract negotiations.
