Bill Wadman

I'm a commercial portrait photographer living in Brooklyn, New York. My images have been seen on the covers and pages of major publications, books, and galleries throughout the world including: IBM, JetBlue, Gillette, The NY Lottery, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Partnership for a Healthier America, UBS Bank, (RED), Time Magazine, BusinessWeek, Men's Fitness, Eating Well, Improper Bostonian, POZ, The New Yorker, Popular Photography, The New York Times, Le Monde, Der Spiegel, Wharton Magazine, Times of London, USA Today, NYSE, Complex, The Univ of Chicago, Princeton Alumni Weekly, Stanford Magazine, Fast Company, Wired, and Corriere della Sera. My real strength is connecting with subjects behind the camera and perfecting their image in front of a computer. I'll admit to being a bit obsessive and rarely satisfied; I'm interested in just about every subject, prefer to paint his my backgrounds when I can, and perhaps most ironically, do not like getting his picture taken as a general rule of thumb. I was also the co-host of the popular photography podcast On Taking Pictures with my friend Jeffery Saddoris from 2011-2018.
