Instructor for the evening classes at Ranken Technical Inst. St. Louis for industrial, commercial and residential Refrigeration and Process Heating. The course included electrical, controls, instrumentation, design and installation over a two year curriculum. The instruction course focused on advanced technical studies with the majority of students being experienced tradesman already working in the Refrigeration/Heating industry and looking for advanced level skills training. Student training included extensive technical in addition to customer service.

Prior to moving into the Product Engineering Dept. at Eclipse Combustion, I held the position of Sr. Service Engineer for the Eclipse Global Service Dept. Primary duties were to provide on site service to customers on varied burners of numerous manufacturers and process applications. Routine maintenance to complicated troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, electronic and system processes. Applications included food, metals, paper, building material processing, mining, automotive, paint, and many other heat processes. A large amount of focus on low emission burners and meeting jurisdictional requirements in varied industrial and commercial processes. Work demanded self sufficient hands on resolution to customer needs in remote locations on a global scale.

Western Region Americas, Combustion Service Supervisor

Started as a sole proprietorship, the company Mechanical Services Refrigeration Inc. was grown into a multi faceted service business and incorporated. Focus on service of refrigeration, boilers, burners, process controls and instrumentation. As Mechanical Services grew, a second company was formed, Power House Supply Inc. and served as a parts sales and distribution company for the boiler, burner, refrigeration and HVAC industries. Mechanical Services Inc. advanced to produce specialty systems for agricultural, industrial, rail and marine applications. The corporations were eventually sold and merged with another company in the year 2000.

As Chief Engineer for the City of Florissant Mo, duties included overseeing all municipal building, mechanical systems, outdoor pools and Civic centers. Systems included were the city's potable water system including all pumping and storage plants. Civic Center Ice rink system, traffic signalization, indoor and outdoor pool chlorination systems, electric vehicle charging systems and any related mechanical systems.

Acquisition of my state boiler operators license was in 1976. Shortly after obtaining the license, the State of Missouri dis-banned the State License. After this, I continued on to complete the requirements to obtain a City of St. Louis Class I Stationary Engineers license.

As a move and advancement within Eclipse, I now work in the product development department at the home and manufacturing facility of Eclipse Combustion Inc. Working with other professionals, our team goal is to conceive, design, build and develop new and advanced products within Eclipse Combustion Inc. My work in the Rapid Development dept. is to design, build and test prototypes in the lab and field that may someday be further developed into new and exciting products. My input of practical and hands on experience with varied processes help add to the product development. The work is exciting and rewarding. The atmosphere of creation and invention make it a great place to work.
