Began by managing the IO Department. Then trained on Inferno and used the system to composite trailers for theatrical release. Edited trailers and composited all optical effects, completed unfinished visual effects, and composited any MPAA or legal fixes necessary to complete the trailer. A few highlights of trailers worked on: THE PRESTIGE, NEXT, ZODIAC, TRANSFORMERS, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3, DREAMGIRLS, INVISIBLE, CRANK, SAW III, BARNYARD, HAPPY FEET, THE MARINE, HARD CANDY, V FOR VENDETTA, HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE, I ROBOT, HITCHHIKERS GUIDE TO THE GALAXY, FANTASTIC FOUR, DAREDEVIL, X-MEN 2, MATRIX RELOADED.

Assisted Jay Roewe assuring that all aspects of Physical Production for HBO Films ran smoothly. Scheduled and ran HBO Films staff meetings with HBO New York. Scheduled budget meetings. Handled expense reports, new department employees, and temporary employees. Also worked very closely with Post Production and Business affairs to make sure the productions ran smoothly.

While taking a sabbatical to write, took numerous temp positions at HBO West Coast offices. Worked in TV, Films, Business Affairs, Post Production, and Physical Production.

Assisted an Executive VP in the HBO Films Development Department.

Ran the story department for HBO Films. Assigned coverage to readers. Hired new readers. Organized all databases. Did extensive story notes.

Organized and helped run the Story Department at Orion Pictures during the era when the studio released the Films DANCES WITH WOLVES, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and ADDAMS FAMILY. In charge of readers, coverage scripts and weekend reads.
