Professor developing and teaching multiple courses for the Bachelor of Science in Emergency Health Sciences at the University. All courses are created within and delivered through the Blackboard learning management system.

Director providing successful, proven leadership to a nationally accredited program serving approximately 400 students per year employing 50 part-time professionals, 4 fulltime faculty, and 8 adjunct faculty members. EMS-Coordinator responsible to the State of Texas for all operations of the program. E-learning specialist creating and maintaining the department’s distance learning courses, course supplements, and departmental webpage. Professor teaching in all aspects of the program including basic and advanced coursework, flex-study and distance education, and continuing and corporate education. Participant in professional development activities including the Academy for Leadership Training and Development, Leadership 2000, Learning Organizations, online teaching certifications, web-authoring technologies, and emergency response systems.

Professor and Clinical Coordinator leading faculty and students in the clinical environment which included San Antonio EMS, the Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, and Intensive Care Units of University Hospital. Chair of the University’s Committee on Committees with a direct report to the President. Committee completed a high level review of all University committees and made recommendations to enhance the functionality and success of operations for the Health Science Center. Task Force member for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools reaccreditation of the University.

Executive and Academic Officer responsible for directing, coordinating, and administering the operations and activities of the school in order to effectively advance the school's responsiveness to student needs, community workforce needs, and to achieve established goals and objectives. Through the leadership of the school, support the mission of the Baptist Health System and Tenet Healthcare.

Academic and budgetary officer for an instructional division consisting of one academic and seven workforce departments with 50 full-time and 169 part-time employees. Through strategic planning, program initiatives, and professional development of faculty and staff, student success has risen each of the last three years using the National Community College Benchmark Project data. As of fall 2013, the division’s student success rate was 87% as compared to the college’s 75% rate. Nationally, the median is 74% with the 90th percentile at 82%. Principal leader for the negotiation, development, and implementation of Lone Star College’s partnership with the City of Houston and the Houston Fire Department to train paramedics and EMTs. As of fall 2014, over 500 HFD personnel have been trained with revenues approaching one million dollars. Responsibilities include oversight, resource allocation, and staffing of three locations including LSC-North Harris (4 buildings), LSC-Health Professions Building, and Chi Lone Star College School of Cosmetology.
