Packet Transport Network: Led strategy, capacity, and financial planning (CAPEX/OPEX) for data communication networks. Managed peering (IPT, IXP, NPIX), internet optimization (CDN, caching), and core security (DoS/DDoS, firewall, WAF). Oversaw IPv4/IPv6, DNS, remote access, and enterprise network services. Delivered KPI and financial reporting to CTO, ensured 24x7 ops with NOC/SOC, and maintained high availability across multisite architecture.

Led network and capacity planning for 3000+ transmission sites to meet traffic KPIs and ensure high availability per SLA. Designed and implemented HLD/LLD for IP/MPLS, L2/L3 VPN (2G/3G/4G), and enterprise solutions with end-to-end QoS. Managed strategic initiatives including future network readiness, vendor/product lifecycle, and workforce coordination. Oversaw CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, BoM preparation, and project tracking. Provided cross-functional training and supported operational excellence across planning, logistics, and deployment.

Led RAN/backhaul migration from TDM to packet-based Seamless MPLS (IS-IS, MPLS-TE, MP-BGP, L2/L3 VPN). Managed HLD/LLD planning, vendor coordination, and implementation. Performed routine SDH/PTN/IPRAN configurations, maintained updated network architecture, and supported mobile services (2G/3G/4G) over L2/L3 VPN. Oversaw legacy SDH-DWDM systems, 24x7 optical health monitoring, and fiber network planning aligned with AOP.

Handled day-to-day operations of SDH and PTN networks, including BSC/RNC site migrations and transition from TDM to IP-based infrastructure. Analyzed key network KPIs—traffic utilization, latency, delay, packet loss—and resolved performance issues. Coordinated change activities across domains and provided regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders.

Specialized in designing and delivering L2/L3 network solutions, including HLD/LLD for enterprise VPN (Internet & Intranet).
