(2.6 million patients treated till 31.3.2014). * Invited by Deakin University-Australia & Amrita University-Bangalore to shortlist best CSR projects for a competition (Bangalore; Dec-2013). * Invited by Power HR Forum to be a Jury Member to select the best CSR idea from amongst 10 power companies (Delhi/Shimla; Nov-2013).

• Conceptualized & implemented the first ever ‘Solar energy’ project of IOC by putting up 3 Solar Charging Stations (for charging rechargeable battery powered lanterns) for providing low cost lighting solution of rural Indians (2006-200). • Steered & implemented the first ever solar powered gas station (9 kwp) in IOC with MNRE CFA. Till Mar-2016, 4000+ gas stations have been solarised with installed capacity of about 10 MWp. • Prepared techno-commercial feasibility report for the first ever wind-solar-hybrid power project for 2 gas stations of IOC. • Completed IOC’s first ecological foot-printing exercise (covering CO2, water and waste) at 7 pilot locations across India. • Initiated the concept of carbon neutral events in IOC. Till Mar-2016, 73 events have been made carbon neutral by planting 20,000+ tree saplings. • Was selected by Swedish Institute to complete diploma on ‘Sustainability & CSR’ at Stockholm (2009-10). • Shortlisted by Swedish Institute-Stockholm for interview by Swedish popular Newspaper Dagens Nyheter for the uniqueness of the Solar Lighting project. • Was invited by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (New Delhi) and The Foundation for a Sustainable Future, San Francisco to be a Jury Member to select the best Sustainable Technology Venture from amongst Indian MBA/ Engineering School teams for the 4th (2011) and 5th (2012) annual Al Gore Sustainable Technology Venture Competition.

• Represented Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Government of India to visit ‘Energy Information Administration’, Washington, USA (Oct-2007) for mutual collaboration on ‘‘forecasting techniques’ and ‘data quality’ for petroleum products. • Penned and published series of articles in ‘IndianOil News’, IOC’s in-house monthly journal and portal www.indianoilexpress.com. (Articles: ‘China-The Growth Story’, ‘What is PPP GDP’, ‘Carbon Trading’, ‘Sustainability’, ‘Brazil’s AADHAAR-Bolsa Familia’). • Edited a memoir on completion of 15 years of Planning & Business Development group of IOC. • Developed Rural Marketing Strategy for IOC. Estimated rural market size for Diesel/Lubes for tractors, Petrol/Lubes for rural 2-wheelers in India. • Conceived Packaged Fuel Strategy for IOC. Developed kerosene pouches and tested the same for storage & transport worthiness. • Prepared strategy paper on Macro Level Corporate Restructuring for IOC keeping in view the inorganic growth of IOC during last 3 decades, reporting structure anomalies, quantum of work and functional requirements. • Developed a strategy paper on ‘Restructuring of Oil Industry’ under Joint Secretary (Petroleum), Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, Govt. Of India.

• Was the first Executive Assistant to an Executive Director in IOC. • Oil terminalling: As Shift-in-Charge, managed terminal operations of black oil products and managed a workforce of 80. • Shipping: Handled scheduling of oil tankers & demurrage analysis. Also worked as Tanker Boarding Officer for loading and unloading operations of crude oil & products at Jawahar Island Port, Mumbai. • Sales: Managed industrial & retail sales of oil products

Since Feb-2012, I am a member of ‘Expert Group’ on Responsible Business, constituted by ‘Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs' (IICA), Gurgaon (under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India). This committee provides guidance to IICA on various policy issues pertaining to advocacy, implementation, etc. on Responsible Business.

During Mar-2012 to Mar-2014, was a Core Committee Member of Govt. of India's "CSR & Sustainability Guidelines" drafting committee for CPSEs, constituted by Department of Public Enterprises under Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises. This committee drafted CSR & Sustainability guidelines for CPSEs, which was issued in Apr-2013.
