Department: Engineering Position • Technical Project Manager Roll and Responsibilities ➢ NPI Phase • Manage NPI Engineering team (PDE, Tooling Engineer, Mechanical Engineer) • For New product Introduction, from Proto Build, EVT, DVT, PVT to mass production. • Close monitoring on project progress and Time line • Communicating with customer and internal team with different functional group for project. • Liaise with supplier to develop process for NPI and Mass production. • Work with Quality team for product and process qualification. • Review/approve gate checklist, Review output from funct. Dual position • Purchasing manager for Plastics Tooling’s, Parts & Packaging • Tooling Manager Roll and Responsibilities • To establish the schedule for all tools and be responsible of its execution within the agreed Plastic Tool bound Strategy • Responsible to manage the IC3 budget as per Project Justification • Manage the tool making process (quotation comparison, technical discussions, targets, tool budget including modify, mould release) • Lead and participate in tool specification process • Monitor progress of Mould making process according to agreed time schedule, via progress reporting from toolmaker and via assessment at tool maker. The entire process starts from the beginning until CROV is met successfully • Participate on behalf of GDC and regions in off-tool meetings • Manage process of tool release at toolmaker • Manage the sample building when the tools is still at the toolmakers for PIC build • Support tool engineer at site in case of abnormal situation during ramp-up in region • Develop and manage the adequate Plastic Mould maker supplier base as define by the CLAN • To use the technical support of (SBMT) Tooling expert where needed • Participate in process of mould allocation , mold makers capabilities matrix • Manage corrective actions based upon assessments and performances measurement of suppliers in your package (SRS/project) Assist in PBE/PST improvement actions • The entire process starts from the beginning until Volume To Market is met successfully Also have experience in other Niche technology like IML, IMD, RHCM tooling ect….
