• Closed tenders all over GTA, Southern Ontario and Ottawa for clients such as City of Toronto, Service Canada, RioCan, Brookfield Properties, Cadilac Fairview, Smartcentres, Government Health units, Infrastructure Ontario, University of Toronto, York University, Avison Young, CAMH, etc, valued up to $100 million • Participate in full cycle preparation of tender submissions & pre-construction conceptual estimates. • Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts for a project. • Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors, and prepare estimates on changes to cost estimates. • Prepare materials, labor and equipment cost estimations on conceptual, design-builds or general tenders necessary to successfully carry out a construction project according to proposals, plans, budgets, and specifications. • Review and establish unit costs, labor rates, productivity factors and location impacts. • Evaluate and recommend allowances for indirect costs, design unknowns, escalation, and contingency. • Understanding the discrepancies in the drawings and sending the appropriate RFI’s to the designers. • Providing budgets and value engineering for consultant review during pre-construction phase to achieve the financial goals of the client in the best possible way. • Participates in site review, tender review, tender hand-off, project closing and operational/sector meetings with Project Manager and Purchasing as required.

• Closed tenders all over GTA, Southern Ontario and Ottawa for clients such as Scotiabank, CBRE, IWG, ZIBI, Cadillac Fairview, Park Properties, Publicis, Pet Valu, Right at Home Realty, Smartcentres, Colliers and many more leading commercial spaces. • Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. • Ability to read and understand Architectural and mechanical drawings and contract documents. • Be involved in assistance work as required, working alongside senior estimator on projects from start to finish. • Develop a bid preparation schedule identifying the tasks, assignments, and deadlines. • Manage and co-ordinate construction projects and prepare progress schedules. • Work on change orders and send them to the client. • Review contract documents including general conditions, tender form, drawings, and required price breakdowns.

• Managing and leading a team of 30 crew members, shift supervisors, and other staff. • Maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction. • Monitoring and managing inventory levels, including food, supplies, and equipment. • Ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations. • Overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts.
