About
I am a Certified Cybersecurity professional with a deep desire to safeguard the digital world. A fraud with my family member had not just lost money, but also their mental health. Every day, I’ve been seeing financial, identity fraud, and many other attacks that have deteriorated the peace in society. That is when I realized I want to do something better that can help prevent or reduce these, and hopped on the cybersecurity journey with Springboard. With various real-world application projects, one-to-one industry expert mentors, I get to do the following interesting things at Springboard: Security Monitoring & Threat Detection Incident Response & Investigation Vulnerability Management & Remediation Security Operations & Compliance Support Security Policy & Best Practices Risk Assessment & Threat Intelligence Security Controls & Tool Management Documentation & Reporting Along the way, I learned and developed these technical skills: Networking: TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewalls, IDS/IPS Virtualization & Containers: VMware, VirtualBox, Hyper-V Application Security: SDLC, CI/CD, OWASP Top 10, Common Attack Vectors Cyber Threats & Intelligence: Phishing, Malware (Ransomware, Spyware), Social Engineering, DDoS, OSINT, Maltego Pen Testing: Metasploit, Burp Suite, Nmap, Wireshark Vulnerability Management: Nessus; Experience conducting vulnerability assessments and remediation SIEM & Log Analysis: Splunk – Real-time alert monitoring, correlation, and threat detection Security Frameworks & Compliance: NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, COBIT, PCI DSS, HIPAA IAM: MFA with AWS, Access Control Lists, User Permissions Incident Response & Threat Detection: Incident Management, Cyber Kill Chain, MITRE ATT&CK, Risk Mitigation Strategies Data Analysis & Reporting: Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Lookups), Report Writing Productivity Tools: MS Office Suite, Active Directory, Data Encryption & Key Management Programming & Scripting: Python, SQL, HTML I think the journey of Springboard is still like a swimming pool. But I would like to dive deeper into the real ocean of the Cybersecurity world. If you’re looking forward for an enthusiastic to joining as a Cybersecurity Analyst or SOC (Security Operations Center) Analyst, or Information Security Analyst, I’d be more than happy to connect!
