About
From a young age, I’ve had a natural curiosity for automobiles and machinery — dismantling and reassembling things just to understand how they work. That hands on fascination guided me towards Mechanical Engineering. I began my career as an Apprentice Mechanical Engineer at Larsen & Toubro, Coimbatore, after being selected through a campus drive during my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Following my apprenticeship, I pursued my Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (Lateral Entry), graduating First Class with Distinction. Currently, I work as a Design Engineer at Sai Shapari Projects, Coimbatore, where I specialize in designing pulp molded tableware products and their tooling (molds). My role also involves sourcing raw materials, accessories and attending numerous mold trial runs to ensure product quality and manufacturability. Beyond work, I’m passionate about automobiles, video games and technology. One of my favorite hobbies is motorcycle riding l, I’ve explored stretches of the Western Ghats across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. 📸 Instagram: @the_diesel_maniac_

Mechanical Design Engineer – Molded Pulp Products & Tooling Designs molded pulp products and their production molds using SolidWorks and Fusion 360, incorporating draft analysis, venting, and shrinkage allowances. Responsible for sourcing raw materials and accessories in line with cost, quality, and sustainability requirements. Works closely with production teams during mold trials to refine designs for improved strength, stackability, and manufacturing efficiency. Involved in the complete molded pulp manufacturing process, from slurry preparation to final packaging.
