Beyond Orin, Bharat is also the Co-founder of Goldi Solar and a long-standing contributor to India’s renewable energy ecosystem. For more than a decade, his work has centred on a singular mission: strengthening India’s self-reliant solar manufacturing landscape. Under his leadership, Goldi Solar—starting in 2011 with a modest 10 MW production line—has grown into a 3500 MW enterprise with a presence in 20+ countries, consistently expanding at an impressive 80% CAGR year-on-year. The company has broadened its capabilities into EPC, IPP, and soon, solar cell manufacturing—an evolution shaped by Bharat’s focus on growth strategy, technology collaborations, and unwavering commitment to quality. Through Orin PV Materials, he is now steering the next chapter: developing advanced materials that empower India’s future-ready renewable energy sector. Bharat’s contributions extend beyond business. He actively supports initiatives in skill development, rural solarisation, and employment generation in underserved regions. His insights on the solar industry have been featured in leading publications such as The Economic Times, PV Magazine, and Mercom India, contributing to sector-wide dialogue and progress.
