understood about the various refining process units involved in refining of crude oil to final products like Motor spirit, kerosene, Diesel, bitumen, LPG etc. We mainly focused on the AVU-II, DHDT, MSQUU, HCU unit of CR-11 of the panipat refinery. learnt about the processes like Distillation, hydrotreating, hydrocracking, sepretion. also learnt about different types of pumps, compressor, valves used in hydrocarbon industry. Done a project on material balance of wash water and sour water used in different units of CR-11.
