Ms. Chau is National Privacy Liaison Officer at KPMG China. She oversees privacy compliance and regulatory liaison across China (including Hong Kong and Macau), supporting audit, tax and advisory practices. She joined KPMG in 2024 after senior legal roles in retail and media.

Ms. Chau was Head of Legal for yuu Rewards and eCommerce at DFI Retail Group. She advised on the expansion of yuu Rewards, Hong Kong’s flagship loyalty program, and on eCommerce initiatives. Ms. Chau's work covered digital transformation, customer engagement, and regulatory compliance in retail innovation.

Ms. Chau was APAC Legal Counsel. She advised on data privacy laws to help businesses protect operating assets and supported cybersecurity controls to minimize operational risks. Ms. Chau transformed legal services into a technology‑enabled 24/7 model. Her team was recognized as a finalist at the Macallan ALB Hong Kong Law Awards 2017 and the Asialaw Awards 2017.

Ms. Chau was Senior Counsel, Privacy. She advised on privacy aspects of contracts and business development across APAC and provided guidance during new product development. She developed processes for law enforcement response and managed requests to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

Ms. Chau was Legal Counsel and Company Secretary at the South China Morning Post. She advised on compliance matters including privacy law, digital media product regulation, competition law, and advertising law. She managed relationships with regulators. She also built and managed a team of legal professionals in a fast‑paced digital business environment.
