I have served as a non-profit Executive Director for 20 years. I enjoy building the connections that enable organizations to grow. Working with incredibly talented and committed staff members and volunteers at every organization I have served in has not only been a major joy of my work life but also key to many of the success I have enjoyed. I believe that all people have gifts and talents that are needed to enhance our human condition. My career has been focused on assisting people, who have had few benefits in life, to find, develop and exercise their talents and gifts. I find great satisfaction in seeing people blossom and their lives take off due to the programs I have created and/or managed. Connecting people of all ages to a world of opportunities through literacy and creative expression programs. Literacy Connects was formed when 5 literacy programs merged in 2011. Literacy Connects provides four distinct programs as serves as the literacy coalition for the Tucson region.
