Mapped invasive plants at Golden Gate NRA using handheld GPS, ESRI ArcPad, and ESRI desktop GIS software. Worked with developers of GeoWeed weed mapping and management software. Conducted plant mapping and Weed ID classes at the Golden Gate Conservancy Park Academy for park volunteers and staff. Developed and implemented the Invasive Species Early Detection Volunteer Program (Golden Gate Weed Watchers). Recruited, trained, and supervised volunteers. Developed and authored technical reports and standard operating procedures for program.

Reorganized and managed the Hawaiian Invasive Species Committees’ web pages to promote effective committee communication and public outreach. Administered over 45 invasive species topic e-mail lists to support information sharing and real time problem solving for the Hawaiian conservation community. Provided technical consulting f or groups such as the Hoike O Haleakala environmental education steering committee, the Hawaiian Invasive Species Committees, and the Coordinating Group on Alien Pest Species.

Researched and delivered numerous natural history talks and hikes for a high volume national monument visitor center. Educated monument visitors about the unique ecology and geology of Mount St. Helens.
