As a Projected Learning teacher, I teach executive functioning skills through hands-on projects.

In this role, I: Write and edit content for app and website developers. Author articles for app and website developers. Edit and proof app and website content. Collaborate with developers to create interesting brand specific content.

In this role, I: Teach in the accelerated learning College of Continuing Education. Instruct a diverse student body who are in various stages in their career journey and life. Meet students where they are to help them reach their educational goals. Engage with students in open communication in ways that are convenient and comfortable to them, whether it’s a video chat, text or email message, or phone call. Provide students with on one on time if necessary. Set clear expectations and encouraged risk taking, collaboration and respect. Observe and evaluate student's performance and development. Adjust instruction to address misunderstandings, assess learning, and complete formal and informal assessments.

In this role, I: Developed curriculum for English courses and Writing Lab. Mentored and evaluated adjunct faculty. Developed and led faculty training and professional development courses. Co-created the online writing lab for students where lectures/presentations were posted and then provided mentorship to the students on their assignments. Co-developed the APA presentation which was incorporated into classes and provided to adjunct faculty. Facilitated opportunities for students to practice a skill.

In this role, I: Encouraged frequent contact by being approachable and available. Monitored student progress and completed outreach to struggling students. Provided a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Engaged students in high quality learning by providing opportunities for students to take ownership of their learning. Developed strong relationships and communication with students from varied backgrounds through email, face-to-face contact, and phone communication.

In this role, I: Established a business and worked as an editor/ acquisition’s editor. Received manuscripts and provided editorial feedback.

In this role, I: Taught classes online and in person. Identified and selected different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs. Imparted accurate instruction to students while ensuring their comprehension, knowledge retention, and initiative-taking engagement. Maintained accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. Acted in a professional manner with parents, colleagues, administrators, students, and the entire community.

In this role, I: Evaluated the essay portion of the GMAT and GRE. Attended trainings and mentor sessions to fine tune my scoring abilities. Filled in seasonally as needed for high school exams, HSTW, CAHSEE.
