With a mandate to ensure that design excellence goals are achieved in the architecture, landscape architecture and urban design of all capital projects, Beth shaped the design of several large-scale infrastructure projects. The most substantial is the $6B Eglinton Crosstown project, where Beth's team defined the design vision for the 26 stations and stops and public realm of this significant city-building project. Most recently, she led the design vision for the Davenport Diamond guideway and greenway. Beth's work expanded the definition of customer experience for the organization, including a regional harmonization of transit wayfinding initiative, and a new integrated art program. She led numerous organizational changes to support better design, including a new design review panel. Her Design Excellence team worked closely with GO transit to support a consistent architectural vision grounded in clear guidelines and requirements.
