10 weeks internship in the Front Office and Back Office of the Private Equity department. Front Office: - Completed a four-week market research project on a current investment thesis, which led to a one-hour presentation to the Private Equity team and Co-Head Partners. The presentation focused on analyzing various sectors affected by the thesis, identifying key players in each sector, and highlighting recent M&A transactions within the Private Equity industry. Back Office: - Responsible for coming up with a Manual including every routine in the area - Weekly updated the fund's cash flow Excel spreadsheets - Updated and calculated management fees for the funds - Assisted in invoice payments for funds - Carried out exchange contracts for fund's capital calls and expenses
