Reporting to the MFQ's COO, support the management and local teams in Fermont to achieve and even exceed the overall objectives of the company's short, medium, and long-term strategic plan. Ensure that the improvement initiatives implemented bring us to the level of "best practices" in the mining industry and will allow us to guarantee the sustainability of the mine.

Responsible for managing all transformation projects related to operations starting with Mont-Wright. More specifically responsible for analysis, financial planning, demand management, resources needed to deliver and realize projects. This also includes planning, directing and monitoring all activities associated with the effective execution of strategic and operational special projects

Maintenance General Management of mobile equipment fleet at the Mont-Wright iron mine. Ensure the maintenance of assets at their optimum level to guarantee the realization of the company's business plan in the short, medium and long term. Bring back the Truckshop to its optimum truck fleet availability level first (completed July 2022)

Crusher/Concentrator Plant general management operation and maintenance at Mont-Wright mine (Processing 76 millions ton/yr of iron ore to produce 26 millions ton/yr of iron ore concentrate). Coordinate and manage about 50 executives and 200 unionized employees.

Manage mining operation (aprox. 450 peoples including mining engineering, drilling, blasting, shoveling, hauling) in order to dispose the waste and deliver the ore necessary to the concentrator business plan. Mine total material move of 350kton/day.

Plant general management (operation, quality, health and safety, env, costs and HR) at Port-Cartier pelletizing plant (Processing of 10 million tons/yr of iron ore concentrate into iron pellets). Coordinate and manage operation, process and maintenance groups (about 65 executives and 195 unionized employees).

Manage and coordinate the maintenance group (about 24 executives and 180 unionized employees) for all mobiles (416 km railway) equipments (30 locomotives, 1200 wagons, etc…)

Coordinate and manage maintenance teams (approx. 40 executives and 200 unionized employees) for the 2 workshops, CRC (major Component Repair Center) and CSEP truck shop (Preventive maintenance service center), Caterpillar 240 and 400 ton truck fleet, loaders, tractors, bulldozers and graders. At the mine (about 30 executives and 150 unionized employees) for electrical drills and shovels. At concentrator (about 20 executives and many contractors) to catch up the new line 7 of Mont-Wright, originally in the 1,5 billion $ expansion project.
