Advanced Pedagogy is an edtech company that is focused on the international education sector. We create thousands of minutes of interactive video-based content that teaches entire subject syllabuses, provide 24×7 online tutors, and produce individualised diagnostic reports to help students with revisions and teachers with interventions. School leaders work with us to lower teaching burdens and improve their students’ exam scores.

As a Visiting Scholar to the Faculty of Computing, London Met, I interact with fellow academics/researchers as well as under/post-graduate students on areas pertaining to my research interest, which lies in the intersection between technology and education. I am particular pleased to have connected the College up with London Metropolitan University such that the College is the * first and only * academic institution in Nepal to partner directly with a UK university.

iAcademy is the successor to Learn More, who focuses on publishing educational materials for school-going students. The company holds the IP for "Study Less, Learn More", a best-selling and one of the most widely borrowed book in the public library system in Singapore. Leveraging on our Cambridge network, our multinational team (but comprising mostly of Cambridge graduates) carry out our mission of bringing affordable, internationally recognized tertiary education to emerging markets void of such qualifications. We work closely with selected local educational partners and internationally-recognised universities, and this tripartite relationship brings about real and impactful educational change in the communities we operate in.

Leading a team of key players, I am responsible for strategising and managing the Informatics Global Campus business with full profit and loss accountability. I am involved in developing and implementing business models with the aim of achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and profits. Keeping abreast of market trends, I identify opportunities to penetrate and capture potential markets, ensuring that customers' requirements are fulfilled. Working closely with the markets, I create and develop new strategic alliances to achieve optimal results for both customers and shareholders. In addition, I also oversee Informatics' new operation in the United States.

As an Editor for JITE, I am responsible for approximately one to three papers at a time, in various stages of the review process. My job is to analyse each manuscript, consider the opinions of reviewers, make the publication decision, and provide feedback to the authors. JITE never sends raw reviewer comments to authors, since such opinions can be conflicting. Instead, I provide our authors with a single, consistent review of their work, formulated by analysing and synthesising the comments of three to six reviewers, along with those of my own. Second, I strive to make the reviewers' comments as positive as possible, while still providing the highest quality feedback for our authors. This emphasis upon both kindheartedness and excellence is part of the Informing Science Institutes's philosophy of academics mentoring one another. Even when I decline a paper, I strive to provide feedback that is both encouraging to the author and of the highest possible quality.
