Career Highlights: -Spearheaded the engineering team of a Nigerian healthtech, managing ~20 engineers. -Instrumental in the growth and success of multiple startups, including YC alumni and 7 of the top 30 Cape Town startups (by size). -Led the significant expansion of Over, growing the team from 25 to 70 employees. -Established Allan Gray as a prominent technology brand in South Africa, recruiting over 70 tech professionals. -Led the engineering for the e-commerce team at Allan Gray, consisting of ~10 software developers. -I'm particularly proud of developing the Adora Query Language at Global Vision, using BNF and implementing other awesome Computer Science techniques (if anyone wants to geek out on ASTs, reverse polish notation, Big O Notation, DM me) -I was also an early adopter of Agile Methods in South Africa. I love connecting with like-minded professionals and enthusiasts in the tech world. If you're interested in discussing technology and leadership or just want to say hi, feel free to reach out!
