With over 15 years of experience as a board director in both corporate for-profit and non-profit organizations, I bring a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to the boardroom. A visionary entrepreneur, a community leader, advocate and mentor, with a passion to support organizations in applying good governance, creating strategies and implementing innovative and technological solutions that minimize risk, cost, and achieve growth to satisfy all stakeholders. My extensive experience in technology deployment and business solution, water resources engineering and management and asset strategy planning underscores my advocacy for the critical role of governance and innovation in today's digital world. My experience spans across three continents, Africa, Europe and North America with a diverse background in corporate and non-profit governance. As an entrepreneur, I have taken on numerous management responsibilities, including product development and implementation, shaping customer services and customer acquisition, branding and marketing strategies, organizational restructuring, and realignment of resources to meet corporate objectives. Additionally, I have been involved in human resources, budgeting and budget allocations, technology, strategy, operations, and many more. Drawing inspiration from my mother, who has been a traditional entrepreneur throughout her life, and my role in learning and supporting her from a very young age, she taught me to understand the Ghanaian proverb, 'The path is made by walking.' This proverb instilled in me the entrepreneurial ideals that progress and success come from taking steps forward, even if the path is not clear at the beginning.
