I am currently a Finance student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business with a strong interest in entrepreneurship, problem solving and learning. I like to approach everything with a strategic mindset, focusing on learning through experience and applying ideas I've learned. One such example is me and my fathers beekeeping business, where we have tried and failed, even with the setup, however after years of trying we have been able to create successful hives. Alongside my education, I have developed a persistent work ethic through hands-on jobs, such as my 3 years at Le Colonial, a restaurant that helped me learn teamwork, cooperation, and helped me develop a persistent mindset. Through these roles, particularly with beekeeping, I have developed an entrepreneurial mindset. Creating, learning through experience, and failure have all been part of my journey so far. However, I believe that failure is the best motivator, and constant improvement is one of my favorite things to not only witness within a company, but also something that I strive to implement into my everyday life.

I would assist my dad in not only the everyday process of beekeeping, but also the setup, selling, and polishing of our honey. The entrepreneurial process behind beekeeping allowed me to stay persistent, as even when things did not work out, we had to figure it out and remain persistent. It was a lot of hardworking effort; however it strengthened my entrepreneurial mindset and reinforced the value of being hardworking while building something over time.

Assisted the kitchen and service staff by delivering dishes quickly and accurately to guests. Ensured proper plating, table placement, and timing of courses. Maintained strong communication between the kitchen and front-of-house to keep service running smoothly. Supported servers by refilling water, clearing tables, and monitoring guest needs. This experience helped me become more persistent, as I was consistently working long shifts and balancing responsibilities. It also strengthened my entrepreneurial understanding of how businesses operate, while the hardworking nature of the role helped me maintain discipline and a strong work ethic.
