Curently co-directing (Volunteer role) , with Larry Gardner, of Maine, an international basketball event in Fort Fairfield and Presque Isle, Maine, USA. As a Canadian representive on the Central Maine basketball committee, we are working in collaboration with the State of Maine Bureau of Tourism to support this initiative to create positive relationships through sport in the border towns of Maine and New Brunswick. We have 16 teams competing July 24-25, 2026, at UMPI and Fort Fairfield high school. USA and Canadian teams with players representing Calais, Caribou, Madawaska, Presque Isle, Fort Fairfield, Woodstock, Fredericton, St. Andrew's, Saint John, Petitcodiac, Moncton, Dieppe, and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. We are alternating the event to New Brunswick, in the summer of 2027!
