Subject matter expert in mechanical design for end effectors, cable driven systems, flexible shafts, and instrument handles for a novel flexible surgical robotics platform.

Designed, modeled, and prototyped multiple components for the Blueprint STEM system, released Summer of 2022: https://sphero.com/collections/blueprint Internship was part time during the Fall 2019, Spring 2020, Spring 2021, and Fall 2021 semesters of undergad.

Worked on a variety of projects, including designing a complex indexing mechanism stored in an instrument shaft, designing and manufacturing 1:1 anatomical models based off cadavers to be used as a system test bed, and refining a plastic snap fit on a sterile drape adapter. Held internships summers of 2020 and 2021.

While at littleBits, I was tasked with designing, modeling, prototyping, and testing a new line of products, where I worked heavily with plastics, primarily on electronic enclosures and gearboxes. I created and organized an engineering file system to be efficient and easier to use and coordinated with the engineering team to ensure product would be released on time.

While at VEX, I designed four new products from concept to production, two of which are now being sold in retail stores (https://www.hexbug.com/trebuchet-instructions-780.html), along with brainstorming numerous product ideas. I experienced the complete engineering design cycle and assisted with design, modeling, and testing for a variety of future products.

During my time at Iron Armour I worked closely with my client to find optimal solutions for what they wanted. I would prototype and test designs and then refined these ideas for patenting.
