Benjamin Norman is an award-winning photographer and director based in New York City. He's spent the last 11 years freelancing for the biggest editorial publications in the country, photographing over 800 assignments for The New York Times, in addition to dozens of stories completed for publications like The New York Times Magazine, TIME, Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, and New York Magazine, among others. His work has been recognized by American Photography, POYi, the NYPH, the NYPPA, and the Hearst Corp. Ben is also a proud teacher/volunteer at NYC SALT, a non-profit photography program serving inner city teenagers in New York City. He specializes in stories told within his native tri-state area.
