I'm an experienced cybersecurity engineer and consultant using my skills in AWS, Terraform, Python, PowerShell, GoLang, Puppet, and other modern languages to help automate IT cybersecurity while reducing manual interventions. I currently consult AWS customers on how to improve their cybersecurity. Before consulting, I worked as a security engineer to create security operations frameworks and security architecture in a high-availability enterprise cloud hosting environment with over 30,000 servers providing secure access for over 100 hospital systems. Extensive experience with Windows (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Domain Trusts), VMWare, risk management, vulnerability management, security architecture and compliance (NIST, HIPAA, PCI), API integrations for a several platforms (ServiceNow, Carbon Black, Trend, McAfee, Splunk), databases (SQL), application control, and zero trust frameworks. Magna cum laude graduate of UCLA with a major in civil engineering and concentration in computer science. US citizen with clean background for purposes of achieving Top Secret Clearance. CISSP and SSCP certified.
