Manage Contract Manufacturer in manufacturing process on electronic, test and daily yield loss. Perform failure analysis and troubleshooting on the test issue such as programming and firmware. Contribute idea in test cycle time reduction activity to allow higher output and cost reduction. Design a simple test strategy for FFGI division to ensure correct's bezel or panel is installed based on different SKUs. Play as a member of ISO9000 team in Malaysia. Perform ISO9000 audit and ESD audit on the production line at CM. Involve in the conversion of test strategy of existing products in order for the standardization purspose. Accomplishment: Reduced the yield loss from 6% to less than 1% for sensors at top level by implementing subassembly test to filter out the fault sensors. Reduce the test cycle time for test station in cost reduction activity. Reduce approximately 1 minutes in all test stations.

An R&D engineer in key module division for audio video products such as DVD player, VHS Combi player, mini hi-fi and USB player. Involve in the planning and schedule arrangement for module development stage. Responsible for PCBA design for DVD and USB module at design stage. Perform essential tests such as EMC, ESD, functionality on the performance and quality of module from the initial stage until the mass production. Besides, do perform troubleshooting on the market claim, production reject or QA reject. Working together with various departments such as electrical design, firmware, QA and other related divisions at the design stage. Sourcing alternative electronic parts at design stage to achieve the target cost. Accomplishment: Able to reduce the cost for PCB board by changing the design from 4 layer PCB to 2 layer PCB which contribute 10% cost reduction. Able to ensure the performance of DVD module by reduce the size of module and 2 layer PCB design that contribute in cost reduction activity.
