Moved from the Policy org to Partnerships / Business Development to create a new function focused on building strategic partnerships with governments, state-owned enterprises (SOEs), NGOs and publishers/fact checkers who seek to use WhatsApp's business products (the Business API and Business App) to engage with citizens across WhatsApp's 2B+ user base. Rapidly scaled government use of the WhatsApp Business API in response to the COVID-19 health and economic crisis, onboarding the World Health Organization, UN agencies and national ministries across dozens of countries to communicate health information and economic relief measures. Manage cross-functional team spanning partnerships, product/eng, policy, trust & safety, legal and marketing; regular engagement with WhatsApp / Facebook senior leadership on growth strategies.

Global elections & civic integrity lead responsible for defining the strategy and creating a civic integrity function at WhatsApp. Led WhatsApp's efforts to amplify the positive use of the platform and to mitigate risks (misinformation, voter suppression) in dozens of elections around the world, spanning Brazil, India, the European Union and the United States. Served as the primary spokesperson and liaison for WhatsApp with election commissions, political parties and the press, and established global partnerships with fact checking organizations, NGOs and civil rights organizations.

Second policy hire at WhatsApp responsible for helping to define and build a policy function for over 1.5B users globally and to integrate efforts with Facebook's policy organization. Led efforts on policy campaigns, product policy, privacy and major civic events (e.g., elections). Helped WhatsApp to manage a major privacy policy and business terms update to comply with GDPR, and led preparations and crisis response efforts for the Brazil 2018 presidential elections.

Senior staff member at leading international business advisory firm led by former US Senator and Defense Secretary William Cohen. Promoted three times in four years to become one of the youngest Associate Vice Presidents at the firm, responsible managing relationships with Fortune 500 clients across the energy, internet technology, defense / aerospace, and consumer goods industries. In addition to global account management, led firm's Americas' practice, helping companies do business in Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Canada and beyond. Developed and grew the firm’s largest and highest-grossing client account, and managed a number of staff members.

Developed strategy for the US Mission to Brazil on how to leverage the 2014 World Cup and 2016 Rio Olympics to accelerate US goals for Brazil re: economic development, public security, and social inclusion. Strategy resulted in 2011 bilateral MoU on US-Brazil cooperation to prepare for major sporting events.

Joined the London Olympic Committee in 2009, and helped to define and advance London's strategy to use the Olympic Games as a vehicle for broadening sports participation in the United Kingdom and to use the event to showcase London's diversity.

Supported CAP's education policy team conduct research on US public education, spanning tenure reform, core curriculum, charter schools, etc. Attended Congressional and Dept. of Education briefings.
